Bruce Ruben began his career in New York and completed a two year program with the
Hartford Insurance Group. While working at Marsh Insurance, Bruce managed accounts
including General Electric Nuclear Power Plant turn key agreements, Air Products and
Chemicals, Ford Foundation and Nestle.
Bruce earned his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) degree in 1969.
Bruce and his wife Ellen returned to Maine and worked in his father’s insurance agency
in Biddeford, Maine.
Bruce is a 1959 graduate of Thornton Academy and 1963 graduate of Boston University.
He is a proud father of two children and grandfather of two grandchildren. Bruce is a
former president of B’nai B’rith, and is a member of Rotary, Biddeford and Saco Golf
Club and Saco Sport and Fitness. Bruce enjoys golfing and racquetball.

Carol began her career with the Biddeford Agency in 1974. She received her Property
and Casualty License in 1976. The agency later merged with the Ruben Agency. She
graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in Biddeford and received her Associates degree
in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine. She earned her
Accredited Advisor in Insurance Designation in 1994.
Carol has lived in Biddeford her entire life. She is married to Roger and spends her free
time walking and traveling. Carol and Roger have three children and five grandchildren.
She enjoys selling insurance and hopes to provide her customers with all the coverage
they need.

Roxanne began her career for a Boston company that tested consumer products. She
later returned to Maine after the birth of her daughter, Nicole. She worked as a manager
of a convenience store and then opened her own business in 1998. After the birth of her
son, Jacob, she closed her business and moved to the Biddeford area.
Roxanne joined the Ruben Agency in 2004 as a customer service representative. She
obtained her Personal and Property Casualty License in 2008.

and Varsity Basketball Coach at George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill, Maine. He then
became a salesperson for York County Biscuit Co. in Biddeford, Maine. Ray became a
Registered Marketing Representative for John Hancock Insurance Company in 1979 and
worked for them for 15 years before joining P & C agency in Old Orchard Beach, Maine.
